Fresh Pasta Class

Eggs and flour, the rolling pin, the sheet stretched by hand: you learn to make pici, tortelli and tagliatelle the Tuscan way, and at the end you eat what you made. From 15 to 50 participants, an hour and a half.

Frequently asked

The cooking class, in detail.

Timings, numbers and scheduling for the two classes — pasta and pizza — with the answers guides and tour operators ask for most.

How long does the cooking class last?
It depends on the class: the pasta cooking class lasts 1 hour 30 minutes, the pizza class 40 minutes. Where planned, time at table to enjoy what you have made is added.
How many participants does a cooking class need?
The pasta class runs from 15 up to 50 participants, the pizza class from 15 up to 70. Larger groups are split into shifts so that everyone has their own station.
What language are the activities held in?
The language is agreed when you send your request: tell us the group's language and we arrange the activity accordingly, working with the tour leader or guide if the group has one.
How much notice is needed to book a group?
At least 2 days. Every proposal is built to measure around your request — rooms, timings, menu — so the more notice you give us, the more room we have to organise everything properly. On the busiest dates it is still worth asking early.
Can the experiences take place at lunchtime?
We are open every day with all-day service from 11:00 to 23:00, so activities can be scheduled at lunchtime as well as in the evening. The exact time is agreed according to room availability and your group's programme: state it in your enquiry and we confirm the slot.
